It was a lot of fun. Many arts and crafts, people and food. Everything Apple. The parking on the main fairgrounds is $5.00 and 100% of the money collected goes to the Boy Scouts.
Safer to park there then to park at a gas station for $7.00 and walk your family on the side of the road.
Enjoyed spending the day walking around looking at the crafts & meeting the vendors. The food was on the high side but the pineapple was delicious 😋 I was looking forward to eating some Brunswick stew from R&A Orchard but I didn't see them. Not many places were set up with apples so that was a little disappointing. The cost was $10 to get in. Last year it was $15 which was crazy. Overall, we enjoyed the day just hanging out & walking around.
This was so much fun!
I loved that they had street signs for the vendor lanes so you could keep track of where you are and where you have been. A great selection of vendors with a variety of products and food choices.
This was a great experience and we will be back!
This is one of our favorite festivals for shopping and food! Get there when they open to secure a parking space on the fairgrounds. We love the vendors, the selection, the layout, the apples, and especially the turkey legs, apple cider donuts, and fresh apples with caramel sauce!
I love me some good food, so this festival was perfect for me. They have a lot of vendors to choose from. The prices aren’t too bad for festival prices, so everything was worth it. Not shown, was a Waffle on A Stick, which was SOO good. All the vendors were sweet and most were letting people taste test things before buying, which is perfect for us, because we bought most things we taste tested Haha. Just wish there was a few more options for Apple Related Stuff. We only saw Apple tacos and Apple ice cream, but couldn’t really find anything else. But it was still a fun day spending time with my family. Was hard to find a parking space closer to the festival, since we got there after they opened, but we managed, so I suggest getting there as early as ya can!! But overall, can’t wait to go again!
Outstanding festival. First time voing and I bought a ton of goodies. Great weather. Decently wheelchair accessible despite the terrain (mostly pretty flat). SO much yummy food and cool trinkets you can buy. I got a neat pen. :D
Awesome festival and wonderful participants. Great fun foods. Interesting crafts and local products. Had a great afternoon.
This was such a cute little walk through of lights. We had fun! Phone died in the middle from taking all the videos and pictures. The sets they had were soo cute and funny!!! They had little booths set up where you could get hot cocoa and sweet snacks. Other booths had little things to buy...I Loved it!! Holiday Lights of Ellijay is a definite must while visiting.
